  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 can peach slices, undrained
  • 1 kilo of chicken breast

instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, add the onion and garlic and cook until the mixture is fragrant and soft – about 5 minutes.
  2. Add ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce and salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and add to fresh slices and liquid. Return to a boil, reduce the heat and cook until the sauce is thick and reduced – about 15 minutes.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the sink of a saucepan, cover with the prepared grill sauce. Cook for 4 hours or low 8 hours. Before serving, remove the chicken from the sauce, shred it with two forks and return it to the sauce.
